Full Job Description

Coleg Cambria is seeking a Lecturer in Media to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning in media, across our level 2 ,3 and 4 courses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media and be able to teach a range of subjects including journalism, digital media, film, and television production. You will also be responsible for creating and delivering innovative and engaging teaching materials, ensuring that the curriculum is up-to-date and relevant to the needs of our students., The promotion of Equality and Diversity is an essential part of the work we do and as part of this, the College is committed to having a diverse staff group. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential. You will also have a strong commitment to student success and a passion for teaching and learning.,

  • Teaching Qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, C&G 7407)
  • Educated to a minimum Level 4 qualification
  • Demonstrate an understanding of current developments within your own specialist area and ways of keeping up to date with such developments
  • Knowledge of the broad range of learning needs and how to support these needs within a learning environment
