Could you support doctors and clinicians to become excellent educators? Can you teach healthcare professionals how they can teach better?
The School of Medicine & Dentistry has an incredibly successful online programme in Medical Education, and we are looking to expand capacity and move out to a global community by appointing a Lecturer in Medical Education

The successful candidate will be passionate and knowledgeable about education, with the skills, enthusiasm and experience to develop qualified clinicians into excellent teachers of the next generation of medics. You will have an enthusiasm to develop innovative student-centred educational practices in an online environment and experience of doing so is particularly welcome. Knowledge and experience of educational action research is also desirable.
You will hold a PhD or willingness to commence study along with a higher degree in an area related to Medical Education. Familiarity with education pedagogy is essential for this post.
The successful candidate may come from a number of backgrounds. You might be an experienced medical educators already, or clinically qualified with medical education experience looking for a career change into an academic role. Maybe you are a post-doctoral researcher in medical education with teaching experience seeking a first lectureship, or an experienced educator from an academic-related roles with experience supporting medical or healthcare education who is seeking to move into a first academic role.
