Full Job Description

Please note, this post is permanent and full-time at 1 FTE.
We are seeking an academic in the field of pharmacy practice looking to build on their leadership skills to work within the Pharmacy provision within the School of Heath and Care Science.
You will be part of an expanding and collegiate team based in the Joseph Banks Laboratories within the Lincoln Science Park with access to a wide range of excellent teaching and research facilities. Lincoln Pharmacy provision delivers highly successful programmes in Pharmacy and the Pharmaceutical Sciences and is dedicated to producing clinically astute, work-ready graduates.
As the post holder, you will primarily provide educational leadership in the areas of pharmacy practice and/or clinical pharmacy, which are key elements in all undergraduate and postgraduate programmes taught in the School of Pharmacy. In particular, you will be active in the Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) programme.
Using your innovative teaching and learning skills, this role will give you the opportunity to make a significant contribution in the future development of the School's programmes and the wider pharmacy profession, and you will have a major impact on the skills development and preparation of a new generation of future pharmacists.
You will work closely with school leadership teams, other academics and key stake holders to ensure an excellent student experience and will have the opportunity to engage and collaborate with a broad range of professionals across the University and its professional partners. You will have excellent communication and leadership skills and be adaptable to work in a rapidly changing environment.

Applicants will preferably be a pharmacist registered with the GPhC or Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland and with experience of teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels. Unregistered applicants must be able to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of current UK pharmacy practice.

As part of your application, please submit a current CV and a covering letter detailing how your skills compare with the job description.
Please note that this post requires a Basic DBS check.
