Full Job Description

This role will allow you to share your enthusiasm, knowledge, and experience with veterinary undergraduates and post-graduates in the area of production animal practice. You will be participating in all types of teaching activities and assessments, especially with regard to production animal species.
Discipline specific clinical research will be expected and encouraged; this will include grant writing, PhD supervision and other research related activities.

All candidates must hold a veterinary degree and it is desirable that you are registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS/FRCVS). Candidates will have demonstrable clinical experience and practical competencies in production animal practice and knowledge of UK/EU clinical and industry practice would be an advantage. Teaching experience and/or qualification is desirable, but you will be supported with gaining the Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching/Higher Education. Candidates will require a PhD.
