Our Music Department is dynamic and vibrant, offering a wide range of courses designed to inspire and nurture the next generation of musicians. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Music Lecturer to join our team, teaching students aged 16-19. The successful candidate will have a passion for music education and the ability to inspire and engage students across various musical disciplines. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students in achieving their academic and career goals. Key responsibilities include planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and innovative music lessons, developing and implementing a comprehensive, The ideal candidate will have a degree in Music or a related field, a teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one), proven experience in teaching music to 16-19-year-olds, proficiency in using music technology and industry-standard software, strong communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for music education, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Desirable qualities include experience in delivering a range of musical disciplines, a background in working with diverse student populations, and active engagement in the music industry.
