Please note that there are two salary scale points for our Lecturer positions. All candidates will start at the introductory salary scale point unless certain criteria are met. Employees can move up the salary scale once one full academic year of teaching for our group is complete, subject to approval. Therefore, internal applicants may qualify for the higher salary scale, although should seek clarification.
If you're organised, creative, and can craft engaging, innovative lessons, this role is perfect for you. Your ability to connect with students, assess their progress, and provide tailored support will be essential in helping them develop the skills they need to succeed in the tech world. Ideally, you have experience teaching or delivering training in the workplace, but don't worry if you're new to education-comprehensive training will be provided. What matters most is your positive attitude, empathy for learners, and strong classroom management skills that create a productive, inspiring learning environment. In this role, you'll be familiar with the T Level in Digital Production and have the flexibility to teach a range of programming languages. You'll guide students across various study programs, from Level 1 to Level 3, motivating them to reach new heights and excel in their courses.

Please note that this is a part time vacancy of 20 hours per week, with a salary of £18,773 up to £20,588 pro rata per annum As a Lecturer of Computing at EKC Ashford College, you'll have the opportunity to inspire and shape the next generation of tech innovators!
