Full Job Description

As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, you will provide subject expertise in Civil Engineering and wider built environment subject areas, for a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the School of Engineering.

We are seeking an innovative academic to develop and deliver a dynamic range of learning materials in civil engineering. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality, accessible learning experiences that align with the University's strategic objectives, placing employability and real-world learning at the core of the curriculum.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in higher education and expertise in delivering engaging and inspiring learning experiences. You will have demonstrable experience within your discipline, contributing to the development of new knowledge in the field.

Experience working with Degree Apprenticeships, whether in industry or academia, is essential, along with a proven track record in teaching and understanding degree apprenticeship courses. A strong understanding of the field of sustainability, asset management, technology, design or construction management, is required.

About the College/Department

The Discipline of Built Environment is part of the School of Engineering within the College of Science and Engineering.

Civil Engineering professionals play a key role in laying the foundations for the future of our country and the world.
