Full Job Description

The introduction and strengthening of the role of Legacy Mentors is one of NHS England ChiefNursing Officer's High Impact Retention Changes to support those in late career to extend their careerwhilst supporting those in their early career to retain them., The post holder will be an experienced neonatal nurse able to coach and provide pastoral support tonewly qualified nurses in a level 3 NICU, demonstrating empathy and patience, be passionate aboutthe profession, supporting the nurses in the learning environment.

This role will be key in supporting colleagues to stay and stay well. The legacy mentor will need to build relationships within the team and demonstrate collaborative working.
