Full Job Description

  • A virtual programme to gain insight into the legal sector and different careers available at Addleshaw Goddard.
  • Learn more about the different routes into the legal profession and the experiences of working for an international law firm.
  • Skills-based workshops on enhancing your CV, preparing for interviews and developing your communication skills.
  • The opportunity to ask questions to and network with Trainees Solicitors, Apprentices, and Partners at Addleshaw Goddard.
  • The programme will be hosted on Microsoft Teams 17th to 21st February 2025, 10:00-12:30 each day.

  • Competition is high so we would recommend taking care with your application and writing 1-2 paragraphs for the 'About You' questions. Please ensure you have proof read your answers before submitting.

    This opportunity is designed to support young people from less privileged backgrounds. As such, students must meet the following criteria:
  • You must be studying at Sixth Form or 5th or 6th year in Scotland
  • You're attending, and have always attended, a state-funded, non-fee-paying school/college
  • And one of the following:
  • You are currently in receipt of, or have previously received, free school meals, Pupil Premium, Education Maintenance Allowance and/or 16 to 19 Bursary.
  • You have been, or are currently, in local authority care (for a period of 3 months or longer).
  • You are, or have been, a full-time or part-time carer.
  • You came to the UK as a refugee or asylum seeker.
  • The occupation of your main household earner is categorised as a routine or manual occupation.
  • You grew up in a household where no parent or guardian attended university.
  • You are attending a state school or college with:
  • a) below average A-Level or Higher point score and/or b) low rate of progression to higher education
