Legal Assistant – Debt Recoveries Department

This varied role is a fantastic opportunity to work within a friendly and approachable team, working with highly experienced Secretaries, Solicitors, and Directors.

Responsibilities of the role would include, but are not limited to:

- Providing a pre-legal service to clients.

- Answering incoming calls from both clients and debtors.

- Taking new instructions from clients, with the ability to set up a new matter if required.

- Issue claims using a statement provided by the client and entering judgement on client's instructions.

- Reconciliation of ledgers, paying out to clients weekly and monthly, adhering to SAR.

o Collections or Credit Control experience - Essential

o Solid understanding of IT platforms - Essential

o Good understanding of client relationship management - Essential

o Previous experience within a legal support or administrative role - Desirable

o Understanding the Legal Process and Enforcement options available - Desirable,
