Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the Legal Team at GOSH. We are a team of highly-specialised team paediatric lawyers, paralegals and subject matter experts who work at the heart of the hospital.

The Legal Office Manager role is multifaceted. You will often be the first point of contact for the GOSH Legal Team; being welcoming, helpful and empathetic is important to us. Attention to detail goes without saying for you and for us. You will be responsible for file management - both day-to-day filing and the ongoing retention and destruction planning needed for file that are sometimes complex, historic or even of potential national importance. You will coordinate the payment of third-party invoices, order supplies, support witnesses to attend court remotely within the Legal Team office, and manage the diaries of the more senior lawyers. We look forward to receiving your application and hearing more about you., The Legal Office Manager will work closely with and support the Trust lawyers to ensure the delivery of a wide range of legal matters for the Trust.

The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Trust lawyers together with cross support for other members of the Legal Team when required.

The post holder will have significant specialist experience of management of legal administration, preferably from an in house team.

In addition, the post holder will also be required to manage general office procedures to ensure processes and duties in the Legal Team offices work efficiently, safely and in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
