Legal Officer

Enfield Council is seeking a talented and ambitious Legal Officer (SO1) to join their friendly, committed, and highly regarded in-house legal team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the quality of life and sustainability of the borough by delivering best value in relation to housing stock., Caseload Management: Carry a full caseload with supervision, handling all aspects of legal work related to housing disrepair cases.
Legal Support: Provide comprehensive support to the Housing Disrepair Team, ensuring effective management of legal processes.
Communication: Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, with a high standard of written English to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues.

Legal Experience: Experience working in a legal office in a capacity such as Legal Officer, Paralegal, or similar role.
Efficiency: Ability to work at pace within a busy team, managing tight deadlines effectively.
Team Collaboration: Interest and enthusiasm for local government, and a desire to work as part of a team.
Organizational Skills: Excellent self-motivation, flexibility, and organizational abilities., Litigation Knowledge: Experience in disrepair procedures or other types of litigation work is desirable but not essential.
