Full Job Description

Our busy Childcare department is currently inviting applications for the following position of Legal Secretary. This part-time role will suit applicants looking to take their next opportunity in a firm that values work/life balance.

A day in the life of a Care Legal Secretary:

- Supporting fee earners in running public law proceedings

- Speaking to clients to arrange appointments

- Preparing documentation

- Liaising with team members to manage diaries

- Preparing files for billing and general file management

Great Microsoft skills such as Outlook to managing diaries and email communications

- Communication skills as you will be answering phone calls to both clients and colleagues

- Excellent audio typing and word processing skills

- Legal aid billing ability is preferred, or numerical literacy skills
