Leicestershire County Council is seeking an experienced and skilled Team Manager to lead their Children with Disabilities team. This role is critical in supporting and improving the lives of children with disabilities by managing a dedicated team of social workers and ensuring effective service delivery. The pay rate ranges between £40-45 per hour (umbrella), depending on experience.,

• Lead and manage the Children with Disabilities team, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Supervise and support a team of social workers, providing guidance and overseeing casework.
• Collaborate with families, professionals, and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children with disabilities.
• Ensure statutory requirements and safeguarding procedures are followed in all cases.
• Monitor and manage workloads, ensuring timely and effective interventions for children and families.
• Provide strategic leadership and contribute to service development within the department.
  
  Qualified and registered Social Worker with Social Work England.
• Previous experience in managing a social work team, preferably within Children with Disabilities.
• Strong understanding of legislation, policies, and procedures related to safeguarding children with disabilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage complex cases and work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
  
  Pay Rate: £40-45 per hour (umbrella), depending on experience.
