Full Job Description

Hartley Primary Academy is looking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor who will join us as soon as possible. The successful candidate will work with our children from Reception through to Year 6. As the role is part-time during term time, it is ideal for those of you seeking work opportunities during school hours. We are seeking a committed and motivated individual to be part of our friendly, welcoming team. To be suitable in this role, we are looking for someone with empathy, energy - and enthusiasm!,

  • Ensure pupils enter the dining room safely and behave appropriately when queueing for their meal, and to ensure pupils have or are provided with a drink and that a sufficient amount of their meal has been eaten;

  • To help with spillages, cutting up food and caring for pupils' personal needs;

  • Ensure plates, etc., are cleared from tables, wiped down and to ensure a clean and tidy environment is maintained;

  • Assist in collecting pupils from collection point and escort to hall/classroom or patrol and supervise school areas used by the pupils at mealtimes;

  • Offer, where applicable, a first aid service, during the mealtime to deal with any accidents that occur safely and quickly;

  • Supervise the playground for an hour to ensure student's safety.

    This is a permanent opportunity offering an actual salary of £4,018 per annum (£23,656 full time equivalent) based on 7.5 hours per week, Term Time only.
