Full Job Description

  • Various hours required
  • To lifeguard all pool activities in accordance with Royal Lifesaving Society guidance.
  • Ensure equipment is set up safely and in a timely manner for customer use.
  • Assist throughout the day in ensuring the leisure facilities remain clean.
  • To be constantly vigilant with regards to any Health and Safety issues.
  • To provide non specialist coaching following a predetermined programme

If you're passionate about the leisure industry this role could be the springboard into your dream career., The role of Leisure Assistant is a busy and varying role with lots of challenges. You will have many responsibilities that range from managing the day to day set up of the activities to lifeguarding. This role can be physically demanding at times, but is very rewarding too.

    If you consider yourself to be reliable, a great team player, able to communicate with confidence and calm under pressure then we'd love to hear from you. We are looking for individuals who will show genuine commitment to the job, have integrity, a can do attitude and a passion for customer service., It is essential for the role that you hold an up-to-date RLSS NPLQ or equivalent (the equivalent must include first aid or you must have a separate first aid certificate)- should your application be received without clearly noting an appropriate qualification, the application will be rejected. Knowledge of health and safety would also be desirable.
