Full Job Description
We are seeking to appoint a Lesson Cover Supervisor to support the teaching staff and provide class supervision when a teacher is absent. This role plays an important role in the school cover system and is an ideal opportunity for someone who is keen to work with young people and become an integral part of our school community. It is also an ideal opportunity for someone who is potentially looking at teaching as a future career as it will enable valuable in-class experience.
Cover supervisors work with students but will not be required to do preparation, planning or marking. Other duties may include accompanying school trips and when not covering lessons some general administrative tasks may be undertaken. Full training and induction will be provided.
If you have the ability to encourage students to learn, have experience in behaviour management or wish to learn such skills, we would like to hear from you.
The above post provides an excellent opportunity to work with delightful students, in a well-resourced environment and to become part of a highly motivated and visionary team of teachers and support staff.
At Woolmer Hill, we pride ourselves on providing an excellent rounded experience for our students and have a commitment to the highest standards for every child, providing excellent teaching and learning to ensure that all students reach their potential.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and energetic team who strive to ensure that all students enjoy learning and surpass expectations of achievement.
