Full Job Description
Eastlight has an exciting new 12 month fixed-term opportunity for a driven administrative professional to join our Housing Services team at as a Lettings Administrator! In this role, you will provide comprehensive technical support to the Allocations and Lettings team to maximise their service continuity and quality, by conducting and overseeing the mutual exchange and allocations administration processes. Duties for the Lettings Administrator include:
- Reply to customer correspondence in a prompt manner within the allotted time frames, while keeping residents informed at every stage of the exchange process.
- Assist the Lettings team in ensuring that all sign-up documentation for lettings and mutual exchanges is prepared and ready, and correct tenancies offered.
- Collaborate with other departments within the business to ensure that all mutual exchange properties fulfil legal and health and safety standards, such as electrical and gas safety certifications, and that customers are informed of any recharges.
- Conduct relevant verification checks, such as acquiring references and housing benefit checks, to all potential mutual exchange customers.
- Liaise with colleagues and managers to provide confirmation of provisional acceptance of mutual exchange applications and obtain the required approvals for sign off.
- Verify that any new customer data is entered into the appropriate record management systems and that any supporting documents are scanned and uploaded in a timely and accurate fashion.

- Full-time, 12 month Fixed Term Contract
- Group stakeholder pension plan (Eastlight will double, up to 5% of the employee's contribution - Employee 5% + Eastlight 10% = Total 15%)
