Full Job Description

1) Arrange, and conduct pre-tenancy interviews for customers who have been provisionally allocated to one of our homes.
2) Process succession, assignment and mutual exchange applications in line with policies and procedures.
3) Manage and comply with all timescales, always looking to minimise the time taken to re-let our homes and reduce void costs.
4) Liaise with external stakeholders such as Local Authority Lettings and Nominations Schemes to re-advertise and allocate our empty homes.
5) Hold potentially difficult conversations with our customers in line with our lettings policy.

In order to be successful in application for our Lettings Advisor role, you will have excellent knowledge of IT applications (e.g. Microsoft Office), some understanding of social housing, you will be organised, able to prioritise workload and work with internal and external partners to deliver an efficient letting service.

Our Lettings Advisor role operates in a hybrid capacity, contracted to 36.25 hours per week. To us, this means a minimum of 1 day p/week spent in either our Rushden or Peterborough offices for collaboration with colleagues across the Group, with the remainder of the week working from home (subject to business needs - we are open to discussion around how this is built into working weeks).
