Bringing your solid grasp of core engineering principles and commitment to best practices to develop robust and scalable applications. You will have the opportunity to master modern frameworks such as Next.js and React while driving the evolution of decoupling from our older technology stack with a mindset on continuous improvement.
About the team
We continue to resource the acceleration of our configuration management system (Apo Console) to enable CDLs Operations to take over the management of Customer Self Portals and New business journeys.
You'll get the opportunity to build on your front-end skills and learn new skills like infrastructure as code by contributing to the development of strategic product Apo Console.,

  • As a Software Engineer relatively new to the industry you will be in hybrid working environment, you will be contributing to the development of innovative web applications.

  • Contributing to designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable serverless and performant web applications using frameworks like Next.js.

  • Contributing code quality by writing test-driven, well-structured, and maintainable code with a focus on performance, security, and best practices.

  • Troubleshooting and debugging issues to provide technical support and guidance to the team.

  • Learning to leverage AWS (Amazon Web Services) services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, and S3 to build efficient, cost-effective, and scalable solutions - during your probation you will be given the opportunity to gain AWS certification.

  • Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements.

  • Contributing to developing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services.

  • Staying up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our products and development processes.

    Around 1-2 years proven hands-on commercial software engineering experience.

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience in writing test driven JavaScript/TypeScript and related front-end technologies.

  • Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Demonstrate an ability to communicate and work well with others to meet product delivery deadlines.

  • Passion for learning and staying updated with evolving technologies.

  • Beneficial to agile working practices

  • Beneficial to have working development knowledge of AWS.

  • Beneficial to have written infrastructure as code.
