Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship

Founded in 2008, Chickywicks aims to provide a home from home environment for your child. We are here to offer your children a fun-packed day in a safe, loving and stimulating environment. We are OFSTED registered and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The new EYFS is linked to the planned activities of our Nursery to extend your child's learning but we try hard to encourage learning and stimulation through play. Join our friendly, highly qualified staff who skilfully support children's learning and development through effective teaching.

Pay starting at £6.40 per hour (Apprentice Minimum wage for initial 12 months, then rising to national minimum wage)
Minimum 30 hours a week
Work (on site) and remote mentoring
14 month duration
Endless progression opportunities from Nursery Room Leader to Au pair.
Monday to Fridays!
Taking part in First Aid training as required
Essential Requirements - GCSE Maths and English C or 4, or an equivalent (Functional Skills level 2)

The main responsibilities of this job role will include:

Working towards Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.
Supporting the development of the childcare provision.
Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns whilst having fun.
Being a team player.
Providing challenging and stimulating activities for all children
Working with teams across the nursery setting
Supporting children's learning and development.
Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children.
