Full Job Description

You will deliver robust quality claims handling, with a key focus on customer outcomes to contribute to the general success of the business.

Your day-to-day

  • Dealing with high volume of claims, following the relevant processes and best practise, in order to progress the claims from inception through to settlement or the Court process

  • Deal with cases of complexity and causation arguments with minimal supervision

  • Assess liability and quantum to include reviewing medical reports and researching and obtaining relevant case law

  • Drafting scheduled of special damage and assess suitable awards

  • Identify litigation opportunities where appropriate

    You have experience of working on RTA Portal and non Portal claims

  • You have experience of assessed liability, researching and obtaining relevant case law

  • You are an excellent negotiator with strong communication skills

  • You have been accountable for achieving objectives in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining high standards of work, quality and client care

  • You are competent working with a case management system

  • You are working towards becoming a Chartered Legal Executive or other recognised legal qualification

  • You have litigation skills

  • You are able to deal with changing circumstances and challenging situations whilst still achieving objectives

  • A salary between £22,000 - £27,500.
