LGV Driver Class 2 - Crane Mounted

Reporting to the Logistics Manager and working closely with the transport and operational teams, your main responsibility is to ensure that you provide a professional and courteous delivery/collection service of products and equipment to our diverse customer base.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver and collect equipment to/from customers, suppliers and other Vp businesses and load/unload said equipment using lorry mounted crane where applicable, professionally, safely and on time in line with level of competency, ensuring company policies and processes are followedEnsure Driver regulations are consistently adhered to under the Driver and Vehicle Standard Agency (DVSA)Conduct a thorough daily defect inspection on the vehicle and crane and record this before any use, clean the vehicle/crane weekly and maintain in a good orderEnsure accurate tachograph records are maintained to include driving periods, rest periods, other duties, etc. and are readily available for inspectionAdherence to site and

infrequent basis while delivering or collecting equipment from Groundforce depots, customer sites and suppliersWhen it is considered necessary or appropriate by management you may be required to carry out any other duties considered within your skill and competence to assist the smooth running of the business, i.e. working in the depot assisting with operational duties when your vehicle is off the roadWhat We're Looking ForValid full clean driving licenceLGV Class 2 C Licence - Minimum 2 years LGV driving experience essentialCertificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC) essentialRITB / CPCS / ALLMI / NORS accredited or similar recognised qualification - Minimum 2 years' experience essentialSlinger / Signaller qualification is essentialFlexible approach to working hours is essential - early starts, late finishes, infrequent overnight stays and occasional weekend workBeing courteous at all times when dealing with customers and the general public and act as
