Post: Librarian
Salary: Scale 6 (actual salary £32,295.95 to £33,310.25 based on Term Time plus working)
Contract: Full Time, Fixed term, Term time + 2 weeks
We are seeking to an experienced and talented Librarian to contribute to the Academy's success.
You will be supporting the students in promoting reading for pleasure across the school. This will include using the Library Management System to issue and return books, maintaining the library as a well-organised and inviting space, working with students to guide and develop their book choices, supporting subject teams in using the library, developing the role of the student librarians, being involved in enrichment activities such as author visits, book groups or special events or activities.
The Library is at the heart of the school and we are looking to recruit an experienced Librarian who supports a vibrant and creative love of reading through student engagement and is committed to ensuring every child is challenged to achieve their maximum potential. You will play a pivotal role in a committed team and make a real impact on the outcomes of our pupils.

· You have recent successful experience as a school Librarian or are training as one
· You are passionate about reading and are well-read and up-to-date both in digital and print publishing.
· You meticulous and precise in your work - ordering, recording and caring for books.
