Full Job Description

As a Life Skills Coordinator, you must also need a full UK driving licence for this position.

The Role

This Life Skills Service is based at The Rare Breeds Centre.

Life Skills Coordinator responsibilities will amongst other duties include the following:

o The design, delivery and evaluation of planned learning and training to service users

o Evaluating the progress of service users and providing developmental feedback tailored to the needs of individual service users

o Evaluating learning sessions, what has gone well and recording how sessions might be improved in future

HOURS

o 15 hours per week (Tuesday & Thursday)

Are you a motivated person with a passion for delivery learning and working on a farm?, o experience of teaching/training and of designing, delivering and evaluating learning sessions

o a good agricultural knowledge and a range of practical farm working skills

o experience of supporting adults with a learning disability

o a vocational qualification relevant to the service

o excellent written and verbal communication skills

Canterbury Oast Trust provides quality development opportunities for adults with learning disabilities in a variety of vocational subjects and settings across Kent and East Sussex. The Trust operates various Life Skills Projects where they can develop their skills in a supportive real life setting.

o Annual Salary: £10,335 per annum

o 22 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays [Pro-rata for part time hrs]; Additional annual leave for 3,4 and 5 years continuous service
