We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible Lifeguards who are passionate about maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our members and visitors.,

• Ensure Safety: Maintain a vigilant presence to ensure the safety of all pool users, providing immediate response in case of
emergencies and accidents.
• Support Daily Operations: Assist with the smooth operation of the pool area, including opening and closing procedures, poolside
supervision, and customer service delivery.
• Maintain Facility Standards: Ensure the pool and surrounding areas are clean, safe, and adhere to Health and Safety
regulations.
• Assist in Training and Development: Ensure you complete all required training and maintain your lifeguard qualifications,
including ongoing training for compliance with safety standards.
• Support Health and Safety Compliance: Assist in maintaining compliance with Fire, Health and Safety, and general facility
safety standards.


• Vigilant Safety Awareness: You have a keen eye for detail and are always alert to potential hazards, ensuring the safety of all
users in and around the pool.
• Teamwork and Initiative: You're a proactive team player who can also work independently when required. Your ability to take
initiative ensures you can effectively manage responsibilities, particularly during busy periods.
• Calm Under Pressure: In emergencies, your ability to stay calm and act swiftly allows you to handle incidents efficiently,
keeping patrons safe and secure.
• Attention to Detail: Your thorough approach ensures that all areas of the facility are maintained to high standards, from
poolside safety to cleanliness and hygiene.
• Flexibility and Reliability: You are reliable and flexible, willing to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings,
evenings, and weekends to meet the needs of the centre.
• Strong Communication Skills: You have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both team members and the public,
ensuring patrons are informed and reassured.
• Relevant Qualifications: You hold a current R.L.S.S. National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ), or you're willing to obtain
it. Additional certifications, such as First Aid and Pool Plant Operations, are advantageous but not essential.
