Line Leader

The Line Leader is responsible for Leading, managing, motivating, and organising team members within the Value Stream to ensure daily production targets are achieved and daily customer orders are fully satisfied to the highest quality and standards in a safe and compliant manner. If you have experience of leading small teams to motivate them to meet the high standards required when working in Aerospace and can effectively manage multiple deadlines, then this position in our Pure Air department may be the one for you. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Ensure team compliance with all EHS procedures and processes to include, but not restricted to, circulation and implementation of Toolbox Talks, SSOWs; provision and understanding of MSDS information, awareness of 5S and Kamishibai practices; ensure understanding & reporting of all near misses, unsafe acts and unsafe conditions
• Be responsible for quality and productivity of team, with the authority to stop production to ensure quality problems are corrected
• Undertake 100% final inspection, raising and issuing Final Inspection records
  
  NVQ/BTEC Engineering or City & Guilds Craft Apprenticeship or equivalent recognised technical qualification or qualified by experience
• ILM Level 3 Team Leading or equivalent
• IOSH Supervising Safely certificate
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
• Managing small teams
• Working with others across the business to achieve objectives
• Working shift where required as this may be necessary
