Linen Porter

Overall responsibility for day to day cleaning of back corridors and staircases, responsible for the upkeep of linen stocks and aiding Housekeeping Assistants in daily tasks.,

• To take ownership and be responsible for de-scaling shower heads, bleach grouting in bathroom and toilets and general upkeep of bedrooms.
• To be intuitive and action the deep cleaning of the rooms, mini bars, air-conditioning, cabinets.
• To assist and help out other Room Assistants when necessary (extra beds, bed boards, make beds…) understanding flexibility and teamwork.
• To complete Laundry duties as required understanding flexibility and teamwork.
• To restock monthly items for the rooms such as magazines.
• To assist General Assistants with heavy loads understanding flexibility and teamwork.
• To report any maintenance issues, and use indicative to resolve.
• All staff should be confident in understanding and executing the company's policies and procedures with respect to privacy, confidentiality and data protection.
• To be fully aware of the Hotel's Fire Safety Procedures and Health & Safety regulations
  
  Experience in working in a 4 or 5 hotel restaurant is desirable
• You will have a keen eye for detail, organisational skills and confident in communicating with the team
