Responsibilities for this role will include (not exhaustive):

  • Provide reporting and analytics support for Land Information win the department
  • Provide both Weekly and Monthly standard management reporting from the LIS
  • Collaborate with department teams on the dashboard and analytics requirements
  • Support with on-going projects from a Land Data perspective
  • Support the function in relation to administrative duties for the efficient maintenance of the Company Data held within the Land Information System (LIS)
  • Oversee the deployment and use of the departmental Land Information System (LIS)
  • Assist with devising and implementing efficient and secure procedures for data management, reporting and analysis
  • Work with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Technicians to provide Land and Geographic data reporting, alongside connectivity between LIS and GIS
  • Support administration of LIS and supporting the wider LIS Team
  • Consulting clients to ascertain project purpose, needs and information required
  • Evaluating the functionality of systems along with keeping up to date with new technology to drive our success forward
  • Administer the entry, editing, and archiving of Land Data held within the departmental Land Information System and associated systems
  • Creation of best practise standards and assisting in the preparation of presentation materials

    It is preferred that the successful candidate for the role of LIS Database Administrator will be experienced in the following:
  • Proven experience in standard management reporting with a strong understanding and ability to work on platforms such as PowerBI and Excel
  • Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution etc.)
  • An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build, develop and influence relationships through collaboration
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • A good level of financial understanding and awareness

    We are currently looking for an LIS Database Administrator (LIS - Land Information System) to join our friendly team at Tarmac located from our beautiful Quorn House in Quorn, near to Loughborough in Leicestershire.
