As a Live-In Care Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to provide personalised, one-on-one care that allows individuals to retain as much independence as possible while living in their own homes. You'll live with your customer for a period of 3 to 8 weeks, offering you a flexible and rewarding role where you can truly make a difference. Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Support with the morning routine, including helping your customer get up, wash, dress, and enjoy a nutritious breakfast.
  • Assist with medication, including offering reminders and scheduling necessary pharmacy or GP visits.
  • Prepare meals and assist during mealtimes, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
  • Help with daily tasks like shopping, unpacking groceries, managing finances (including pensions), and maintaining a clean and safe home environment.
  • Accompany your customer on social outings such as walks, family visits, or day trips to clubs or events.
  • Provide continence care, including managing catheters and continence aids.
  • Offer specialized care, such as stoma or PEG feed assistance, tailored to individual needs.
  • Monitor any changes in health and coordinate with healthcare professionals for ongoing support.

    You are adaptable, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure in varied care situations.
  • A driving license and access to a car is helpful, but not required-being flexible and able to travel to different branches is key.
  • You must be able to commit to assignments lasting 3 to 8 weeks at a time.
  • You must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
