Live in Care Proessional

The placement will pay £120 per day plus a food allowance of £40 per week. Travel will be paid from home to and from the client at the start and end of the placement. Bank holidays are paid at 1.5 times and Christmas and New Year's Day at 2 times. The client has a diagnosis of bowel cancer and is aware this will be a life-limiting condition although he remains well at present. He lives in a rural location in Northamptonshire with his placid old labrador. He is very practical about his circumstances and is keen to maintain a quality of life. He has had recent falls and uses a range of mobility equipment (frame and wheeled commode) his family is very supportive. The support will involve looking after the house, letting his dog out into the back garden (not walking), meal preparation and support with personal care. At present John also needs support with his tableted medications.
