live in Care Professional

The client has a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease and has been receiving a live-in service from us for more than 2 years and so we know her routine well. She lives in a rural location in Oxfordshire in a very large house with a heated pool and sauna available for use by the caregiver. Her son also lives in another part of the house but he is not involved in the day-to-day delivery of what we do. He may occasionally join her for meals but that is rare. He is often away with work / travelling for several days at a time. The client is a pleasant lady who enjoys company and conversation and will chat about things she has done in her past. She is particularly fond of her memories of looking after small children. She also enjoys crafts and puzzles, but these days is less active than she used to be preferring to spend more time in her bedroom with her soft toys. She also naps during the day in her bed. There are no mobility concerns although she has a wheelchair to go around the village
if needs be. We provide support with personal care, meals, medication support, companionship and looking after her home.

We are seeking someone to work on a two-week on / off pattern as a routine but with some flexibility required at times. For more detail click the application link.
