Full Job Description
Are you enthusiastic, fun-loving, yet professional? If this sounds like you then this role could be perfect! I am looking for a self-employed PA to provide live in support so that I can be as independent as possible in my everyday life. I would say that I am an ambitious young man with lots of interests and goals that I want to achieve. I have a passion for music and DJ regularly. I have even recently travelled to Ibiza where I performed a DJ set at a club. The selfemployed PA would join a team of PAs who support me in fulfilling my work and passion which is DJ'ing all over the world. Being able to travel with me anywhere in the world for work would be part of the role, so having a valid passport would be essential. I used to play the Paralympic sport 'Boccia' at a national level and now run my own disability sports coaching business. Any PA's who support me will be required to assist the me in travelling to and from coaching sessions, along with providing
physical assistance setting the session up. As a result, a clean driving licence will be required to drive my modified vehicle. My cerebral palsy means that I need help with personal care, domestic tasks and generally maintaining a clean living space. It is important that I find PA's that can be flexible and creative so that they can help minimise the barriers that disabled people face and find ways to solves and deal with these challenges.

Other relevant duties as required

Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance
Candidate qualities
Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
Reliable with good timekeeping
Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative Hygienic, tidy and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Honest and cheerful
Creative
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
Able to always work to high standards of health & safety It is desirable that the PA is confident around technology.
Full clean driving licence and happy to dive my adapted vehicle. Valid passport and willing to travel worldwide

Hours per week: Live in support working 7 days (one week - Friday to Friday) joining a team of self-employed PAs. Casual work to start with but could progress to more regular support.
Hourly pay rate: Up to £150 for a 24 hour period/£1050 per week
