Full Job Description

The role of the Loan Kit Co-ordinator is to provide a comprehensive and efficient system to support service delivery within the perioperative care environment. They will ensure the correct and prompt provision of instrumentation, and all loan kit requirements. The Loan Kit Co-ordinator will adhere to all Trust policies and procedures, and act as a role model upholding Trust behaviours, values, and expectations., 1. Based on an emailed Proforma request system, book specialist loan equipment, implants and/or company representatives required for surgery. 2. Raise and receipt purchase orders on Unit 4 system. 3. Liaise with relevant teams and companies to ensure correct equipment and/or implants are ordered. 4. Checking equipment for completeness prior to surgery, ensuring correct documentation is sent to HSDU. 5. Check out equipment to return to loaning company or hospital, ensuring all relevant documentation is returned with the equipment. 6. Ensuring the equipment is booked and returned within the necessary timeframes to ensure that no patient is cancelled due to equipment availability. 7.Issue Implant Trackers against each procedure to confirm usage. 8.Email Implant Tracker Sheets to Procurement for costing and upload to Patient record via the Advantis CDS System. 9.Update localised various Loan Kit Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Board Update information. 10.Resolve various invoicing queries relating to purchase orders placed 11.Contribute to the development and implementation of standard operating procedures, policies, and guidelines related to service needs. 12.Work with the Business /directorate Theatre's manager to provide Facts and Figures for Business cases as and when required., The role of the Loan Kit Co-ordinator is to provide a comprehensive and efficient system to support service delivery within the perioperative care environment. If successful this vacancy will require a Standard DBS check at a cost of £21.90. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £13.
