Full Job Description

CBRE is seeking an Associate Director to join our Loan Services team in London. This position is client facing, leading a small team carrying out reporting mandates; requiring excellent analytical skills and experience in real estate debt.,

  • Line manage a team of 3 analysts to carry out various EU/UK CRE debt reporting mandates supporting the Loan Services department.

  • Oversee ESMA/regulatory & CMBS reporting cycles completed by the analysts, ensuring reports are updated in a timely manner accurately and working with digital team for enhancements to the reporting website.

  • Oversee roll-out of the client portal system to clients, ensuring data is accurately updated on time in line with client expectations and working with design/technology teams to enhance the system.

  • Oversee investor reporting mandates whereby IRR's and loan performance metrics are calculated and monitored every month.

  • Participate in relevant client meetings and present to relevant stakeholders.

  • Assist set up of templates for new reporting mandates for construction draw monitoring & UK CRE debt portfolio and loan level reporting.

  • Special projects as required.

    Solid experience in UK & European CRE finance sector.

  • Investment & Construction CRE debt transaction management expertise.

  • Familiarity with LMA structured finance documentation.

  • Excellent analytical skills, both property and financial including an advanced knowledge of financial modelling techniques.

  • Project management / line management experience.

  • Loan portfolio / Loan level investor reporting.

  • Loan management systems.

  • Knowledge of ESMA reporting requirements helpful but not essential.


  • Education/Experience:
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent with a minimum five years' relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • CAIA, CFA or MRICS helpful but not essential
