Full Job Description

We are looking for a permanent full time LADO to join us. The role will be to offer professional consultation and advice, chair and coordinate complex meetings, and manage allegations against people who work with children in paid employment or in voluntary work.

The core activities of the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) will be to:
Offer professional consultation and advice, chair and coordinate complex meetings, and manage allegations against people who work with children in paid employment or in voluntary work.

Chair complex multi-agency and multi-disciplinary meetings, making threshold decisions about the likelihood of significant harm and providing appropriate advice and guidance
