Local Government Officer

The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Local Government Officer. The post-holder will be responsible for developing all aspects of the Labour Party's Local Government work through the provision of strategic support for Councillors, Labour Groups and the Association of Labour Councillors in their campaigning activity and communications. The post holder will also help to support the wider objectives of the Campaigns and Elections Team.

The successful candidate will have; Understanding of Labour Party campaigns at a local and national level; Experience of campaigning; Experience of dealing with local government issues and procedures; and Highly developed interpersonal skills and an ability to work proactively with diverse stakeholders.
