Full Job Description

You'll join us to ensure the effective training delivery to Police Officers and Staff at the CNC; designing, developing, and implementing a range of local training and briefing packages, you'll do this by researching the subject area, gathering information from managers and stakeholders, agreeing appropriate learning outcomes, evaluations, and ensuring that Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion are promoted throughout. You'll ensure that training is scheduled and delivered on time, and that Officers are able to be released to attend and ensure that all training records are kept up to date. Your role will encompass some of our key training, including Sellafield site-specific, Respirator Fit Testing and assisting the Police Control Room training too! You'll ned to work across the organisation with a variety of stakeholders, so you'll need to ensure that service expectations are being met in a customer-focused way.

To be successful in this role you'll have experience of designing, developing, and delivering training and learning packages, training presentations and practical application, and running structured training courses to a nationally accepted standard. You'll be an organised individual and have experience of using and maintaining training databased to ensure accurate records are kept. You'll be self-motivated and an excellent communicator. It would be desirable, but not essential, if you were Qualified (or equivalent), to A1 Assessor and have demonstrable experience in this role. As police staff the public expect us to display the highest standards, values, and professional qualities at all times.
