Full Job Description

The post holder will be working with the Early Intervention in Psychosis service in Oxfordshire, and will gain experience in the assessment and management of early psychosis. The team works with patients between the ages of 14 - 35 presenting with a first episode of psychosis, or who are at risk of developing psychosis. This is a fascinating patient group, posing diagnostic and management challenges, and as this is often the first contact the patient (and family) have with mental health services, it can serve as a model for the patient's future experience.See JD for further information., The post holder will be involved in assessment, treatment and management of patients from the point of referral until transfer to another service. He/She will be involved in developing high quality care plans which may include work on early warning signs and relapse prevention for example. See JD for further information.
