Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Locum Consultant to join the Dermatology team at Whittington Health. This is a fixed term post comprising of 8 programmed activities at Whittington Hospital with clinics in General Dermatology, Paediatric Dermatology, Skin Cancer Screening, Biologics for Psoriasis and Dermatological Surgery. There is also the opportunity to substitute a General Dermatology programmed activity for Routine Teledermatology, depending on service need.
The service seeks a dynamic, innovative and enthusiastic colleague, committed to the highest standards of practice, evidence-based medicine and quality assurance. Whittington Health is a key provider of Dermatology services in North Central London (NCL) and is a leading partner in the NCL Dermatology network. It serves the populations of Haringey, Islington and Camden directly, and receives referrals from across London through the NHS Choose and Book service. It manages approximately 10,000 patient attendances annually. + Ensure you are familiar and comply with local protocols and systems for information sharing.
+ Know the appropriate contact numbers and required reporting lines.
+ Participate in required training and supervision.
+ Comply with required professional boundaries and codes of conduct
