Full Job Description

All staff are involved in the development of the service and we actively encourage continual professional development.

IGRT : Image review

Image review

Provide backfill for other image review radiographers within the department

Work with Advanced Practitioner to devise training packages and deliver training

Participate in Verification Steering Group

Routine audit of imaging practice

Support Advanced Practitioner in other audit / service development and research activities

SABR :

Routine audit of SABR practice

Support Advanced Practitioner in other audit / service development and research activities

Attend SABR pre-treatment and Day 1 appointments

Review SABR patients and write treatment summaries

Work with Advanced Practitioner to devise training packages and delivery training

Participate in SABR Peer Review

a radiographer with an excellent technical background and experience of delivering training, whilst providing strong leadership to a team of staff.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a team and will have exemplary communication skills and be able to put patients at ease.

You will be expected to disseminate knowledge to patients, peers, and the wider multidisciplinary team.

You should have a wide range of radiotherapy experience and possess excellent time management and organisational abilities.
