Full Job Description

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the care of General Medicine inpatients, oversee the care of a ward of medically fit patients and assist with the medical post take. They will be on the out of hour's medical consultant rota. They may also contribute to the care of patients on the newly opened general medical ward as well as contribute to teaching and training in a leading hospital.

The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC's Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
