Full Job Description

At present, the Department of Anaesthesia provides a service for 14 operating theatres: 2 in the new Premier Inn Clinical Building (PICB), 4 in the Morgan Stanley Building (MSCB), 6 in the Variety Club Building (VCB) and 2 in Octav Botnar Wing (OBW) and a recently opened operating MRI facility. All are used for NHS and International Private Patient activity.

You will be on the General Medical Council's specialist register for Anaesthetics (CCT or equivalent), or within 6 months of award of CCT by date of interview. You will have completed (or be within 6 months of completion of) a recognised training programme in paediatric anaesthesia and have substantial experience.

Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust is a postgraduate teaching hospital, linked with the Institute of Child Health (ICH). The Trust has over 300 beds and provides a comprehensive range of paediatric specialties for tertiary level care.
