Locum Consultant Medical Oncologist - Melanoma, Colorectal and CUP

This is a replacement post. The post supports the Lung and Lower GI MDTs at New Cross Hospital Wolverhampton and Russell's Hall Hospital, Dudley. The post holder will see approximately 100 new Lung and 100 Lower GI patients. Secretarial support, designated office space and appropriate IT equipment will be provided. The successful candidate will work with two clinical oncology colleagues and one medical oncology colleague managing UGI and Lung cancers. The successful candidate will be expected to work with professional colleagues and local managers to provide an Oncology service to Wolverhampton and Russells Hall hospitals.Main duties of the job This is a replacement post. • Cannock Chase Hospital - general surgery, orthopaedics, breast surgery, urology, dermatology and medical day case investigations and treatment (including endoscopy) ;
• More than 20 community sites - community services for children and adults, walk-in centres and therapy and rehabilitation services ;
• Primary care - Ten GP practices have now joined us and offer extended opening hours to patients.
