We have a Practice Development Team who will support you as you progress through your career and guide you towards your learning goals, helping you to develop the core skills needed and consolidate previous experiences We run an in-house Emergency Care course with accreditation from Canterbury Christ University. This role offers the opportunity to develop core skills and consolidate previous experiences in a supportive emergency care setting making it the ideal next step for nurses already working in an acute setting to develop their skills and knowledge further. To be considered for this role you will be a Registered Nurse with 6 months post qualification experience able to evidence recent and ongoing professional development This role is suitable for newly qualified nurses who can demonstrate Paediatric ED placement experience., Would you like to work flexibly?   • RSCN / RNChild, Degree
  • Intravenous additives course
  • Experience / Knowledge Essential criteria
  • Previous experience of speciality
  • Knowledge of current clinical evidence based practice.
  • Knowledge and understanding of current changes in the NHS and wider agencies.
  • Knowledge and understanding of clinical governance.
  • Knowledge of local community and understanding of multi-cultural, racially diverse population.
  • Knowledge of current professional issues relating to nursing.
  • Desirable criteria
  • Awareness of structure and organisation of the wider NHS including policy and strategy
  • Skills Essential criteria
  • Competency in medication administration including IV medications
