Full Job Description

The successful candidate will participate in the general workload of the department including out-patient clinics and ward duties (obstetrics and gynaecology clinic activity), labour ward cover, maternity theatre and elective gynaecology lists, involvement in departmental risk management and governance. The on call duties will include working on a 1: 8 resident on-call weekday and 1:18 non-resident weekend rota.

Education/Qualifications Essential

  • Full GMC Registration
  • Medical Degree
  • CCT (or within 6 months of CCT completion)
  • MRCOG

  • Higher degree MD or PhD

  • Experience of Audit
  • Experience of working within the NHS

  • Completion of ATSM in fetal medicine/ maternal medicine
