Locum Consultant Paediatric Dermatology

We are looking for a dynamic Locum Consultant to join the team based at St Luke's Hospital. The new post holder will be expected to provide a full range of care for general secondary and tertiary level paediatric dermatology patients.
The successful candidate will have wide experience in the diagnosis and management of skin conditions with skills that complement the current team. They will be involved in providing outpatient assessment, supervising day-case treatments.
Bradford is a teaching hospital that actively encourages research and innovation. There will be opportunities to develop subspecialist interests and undertake clinical studies.
The position comprises 6.125 PAs and cover for urgent inpatient referrals and GP queries in working hours is also anticipated, but there is no formal out of hours cover required for this post on a regular basis.

Applicants will be expected to be Members of the Royal College of Physicians or have equivalent experience and training and must be fully registered and licensed to practise with the General Medical Council. The post is open to both dermatologists and paediatricians. Applicants need to have completed an approved period of training in the relevant specialism. Applicants with a dermatology training will be asked for evidence of additional experience in paediatric dermatology and candidates with a paediatric training will be required to have at least 2 years' experience in a paediatric dermatology team.
