Full Job Description
The appointee will, together with Consultant colleagues be responsible for the provision of benign and malignant breast surgery work, including microsurgical breast reconstruction, to ensure the continued development of the Sheffield breast surgery and reconstruction service at the Royal Hallamshire. Furthermore, the post holder will support the Trauma service at Northern General site for general plastic trauma and semi-elective conditions.
The appointee will be part of a trauma on-call rota (1:18) covering both Trusts involving Northern General, Royal Hallamshire and the Sheffield Children's hospital. They will have continuing responsibility for patients in their care and the proper functioning of the Department. The appointee will undertake outpatient clinics, elective operating sessions, ward round duties and supporting activities amounting to 10 programmed activities per week., Non-Please refer to the supporting job description and person specification which will outline the duties of the role including an indicative job plan.

Based at Royal Hallamshire Hospital for a fixed time period of 12 months
