Full Job Description

This is a fixed term 12 months locum consultant position with a specialist interest in Prostate cancer and Robotic Prostatectomy (joint post with GSTT).The postholder will be working within the multi-disciplinary team providing and further developing care for the patients with prostate cancer including a robotic prostatectomy list at Guy's Hospital. In addition, the individual will be required to play an active role in the general workload of the Renal and Urology Care Group at KCH while having a significant commitment to teaching and training of junior staff., The post will be primarily based at King's College Hospital, Denmark Hill site, with some clinical activities at Guy's Hospital. The proposed Job Plan (10 PAs) is attached. This is subject to review within 3 months of the postholder commencing in post., The On-Call commitment is classed as 1 in 10, category A (3%). There is a commitment to undertake routine job planned work on Saturdays or Sundays as part of the total job planned PAs. The on call rota is currently under review and provision is likely to change.

£105,504 to £139,882 a year Per annum excluding London Zone Allowance
