Full Job Description

The appointees will, together with Consultant colleagues be responsible for the provision of vascular interventional radiological services to enable Sheffield Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust to fulfil its service agreements with its commissioners. Vascular radiologists do not undertake general radiology reporting and involvement in non-vascular interventional procedures is based on matching clinical applications to the team's specific range of expertise.
Clinical research will be strongly encouraged, and suitable opportunities exist for an active research programme based at the Northern General Hospital. The Trust has a dedicated Clinical Research Facility.
The appointee will be expected to take an active part in Undergraduate and Postgraduate teaching and training., Please refer to the supporting job description and person specification which will outline the duties of the role including an indicative job plan.
